TRENAYR ROAD RANGE is located at 434 Trenayr Rd Junction Hill, approximately 10km North of Grafton near the village of Junction Hill.
The Grafton Rifle Club holds the tenancy over the range. It has a 900yd long range that is shared by several Shooting Clubs with various disciplines including;
SSAA - Benchrest and Shotgun, Clarence Valley Small Bore Rifle Club,
Grafton Rifle Club - Big Bore and Field Class and Clarence River Pistol Club.
The range has two undercover shooting areas, a clubhouse and an ablutions block with toilets and shower.
SSAA Grafton holds Benchrest Shoots on the first Sunday of the month at 9am.- (See Event Calendar)
Clarence Valley Small Bore Rifle Club also utilise the facility from 1pm.
The Benchrest Facility consists of an all weather building with a concrete floor.
There is extensive sound absorbing material to reduce reflected muzzle blast.
There are 10 permanent concrete and block benchrest tables fronting a 50m & a 100 yard range.
SSAA Grafton holds Shotgun Shoots on the third Sunday of the Month from 9am- (See Calendar)
The Shotgun Facility consists of a single stand clay thrower.
Grafton Pistol Club (SSAA NSW affiliated) longarms range is located within the Grafton Pistol Club Shooting Complex. It is approximately 3.5 km south of McDonald's in Sth Grafton.
Head south/west off the Pacific Hwy onto Old Lilypool Rd for 350 metres then turn right onto a gravel road. Follow signs for further 400 metres.
Events start at 9am most Saturdays.
Most range's have all weather buildings with many ranges and distances.
The facilities at Grafton Pistol Club include a large club house, toilets and several undercover shooting ranges.
All in all, it is a fantastic facility that holds many competitions.
